Sawn Forms

This body of work involved a combination of processes developed through previous work. The clay bodies of most pieces were adapted through additions of various aggregate materials, and involved cutting and polishing post firing. I became increasingly interested in using the cut of the diamond bladed saw, to introduce textural areas and in some cases piercing right through the form - a reference back to my much earlier pierced forms.
